Dear Patient,

We hope you and your loved ones are well. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months, and we are all looking forward to resuming our normal routines. Our entire team is thrilled that we are able to serve you again and we want to assure you that your health and safety remain our top priority. It is for that reason that we want to make you aware of all the upgrades we have made to the office, as well as our updated protocols that we put in place to ensure your dental visit is safe.

Our entire office will be disinfected on a daily basis using organic material and Bioblast technology. We have placed HEPA air purifiers in every room, including treatment rooms, the hallway, waiting room and reception areas. Extraoral suction units have been purchased, new technology that will be used during your treatment, which is designed to minimize aerosol exposure, thereby reducing bacterial and viral infections. Additionally, we have upgraded our central air conditioning to a hospital grade filtration level.

24 hours prior to your dental appointment, you will be asked pre-screening questions. At this time, we will request that you reschedule if you, or anyone in your household, have been sick within the past 2 weeks. We will remind you during that call that a mask will be required prior to and after your treatment. On the day of your dental visit, you will have the option to check-in from the parking lot - via phone call - and wait in your vehicle until the dental chair is ready for you. If you choose to wait in the reception area, we have socially distanced the chairs to be 6 feet apart. We will do a temperature check when you enter the office. You will be provided hand sanitizer upon entering the office and again before leaving. We will also request that you do a pre-rinse prior to starting your dental procedure to reduce oral bacteria.

We have allocated extra time between scheduled appointments to allow for thorough and enhanced disinfection between patients. This will also decrease the number of patients crossing paths during their time in the office.

We will also screen our staff at the beginning on each work day to ensure our team is healthy and that you are entering a safe environment. The entire staff will be required to wear masks throughout their shift.

All of these measures are in place to be sure your dental visit is both safe and comfortable. Your oral health remains an important part of your overall wellness and, as always, we want to be sure you are able to receive optimal care.

We send you continues wishes for health and safety and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Keep smiling,
Your Distinctive Dental Team
